Carolyn Q. Hunter

Sisters Anna-Lee and Sarah-Belle own and operate the new Drive-In movie theater in their small Louisiana town, and are spooked to discover that the Drive-In is haunted by a very peculiar ghost. This particular spirit is just the beginning of some spine-chilling, crime-solving adventures for the sisters.

Movies And Murder

When Sarah-Belle Francis buys a wax and plaster gorgon statue to accompany her latest movie showing at the Voodoo Drive-In and BBQ, her sister Anna-Lee can’t get over how ugly the thing is. The hideous wax figure turns out to be far more than Belle bargained for, however, when a human skeleton is discovered inside.
The sisters soon find themselves caught up in another wild paranormal mystery involving more folk magic, ghosts, and escaped movie monsters than either of them knows how to handle.

Will they be able to track down a killer before the gorgon’s stare turns them both to stone and freezes an already ice cold case to death?

Moans Mummies and Murder

Sisters, Sarah-Belle and Anna-Lee Francis, are preparing to host their very first movie premiere at the Voodoo Drive-In, and they are going all out for the occasion. Since it’s a mummy movie, they are working to deck out the entire restaurant and drive-in with an Egyptian theme, even going to the length of renting a life-sized sarcophagus to display.

When the sarcophagus, which is supposed to be a novelty, arrives with a very real, very frightening, mummy inside, things start to get a bit weird, and escalate from bad to worse when a body is discovered on their doorstep. Strange sounds seem to come from within the sarcophagus, and the sisters don’t want to believe that the mummy has come back to life, but wonder if the tales of a three thousand year old curse might actually be true.

Will they survive to solve the mystery of the moaning mummy? Find out in this latest spine-tingling tale from the terrifyingly talented Carolyn Q. Hunter.

Blue Eyed Doll

If there is one thing that Sara-Belle hates, its creepy dolls.
Unfortunately for her, it seems like that’s all anyone is talking
about in Sunken Grove, Louisiana. One man wants to buy a rare antique
doll, another woman claims that no such doll exists, and yet another
woman is hoping Belle will show a haunted doll movie at her theater.
Things get worse when a local woman is found dead, and as luck would
have it, it seems a doll is somehow involved.

Is all this talk of dolls just a coincidence, or is there a connection
between the murder, the movie, and a strange antique doll–one with
glassy blue eyes that follow you wherever you go? That’s what Belle
and her sister Anna are determined to find out in this latest spooky
cozy mystery.
